Winter at Doeview means snowshoeing and hiking in the woods, skating, kicksledding and cross-country skiing on frozen Doe Lake, tobogganing down our driveway and building snow castles and snowmen or -women.
In order to preserve our very special peaceful tranquility we do not cater for snowmobilers but invite every nature lover to experience this wonderful time of the year in peace and quietness.
The Almaguin Highlands region is retaining its exquisite, breathtaking, picturesque natural look that has made it a place vacationers can call heaven!
